New system for rain water harvest by Waterco manage to save 75 % of water consumption. Applied at factories the rainwater could be used to washing of floors, flushing toilets, watering plants and overall cleaning of equipment with no meter runing. The fee water is a solution to a water shortage to places in Malaysia and others countries.

Waterco Confident New Product Will Appeal To Manufacturers
PETALING JAYA, April 15 (Bernama) — Waterco (Far East) Sdn Bhd, is optimistic its newly launched rainwater harvesting and conservation system will appeal to large manufacturers in the near future.

Executive Chairman-cum-Chief Executive Officer of Waterco Ltd Australia Goh Soon Sinn said manufacturers who install the system would be able to save up to 75 per cent of their water consumption.

The company, a major leader in Malaysia for pumps and filters in water conditioning systems, was working in line with the government’s call to make use of existing natural resources to alleviate the water shortage which is severe is several parts of the country.

“We are not interested in making profits but more keen on giving benefits to the environment through our solutions,” he said after launching the company’s new rainwater harvesting system.

The newly launched harvesting and conservation system recycles rainwater for general factory use like washing of floors, flushing toilets, watering plants and overall cleaning of equipment.

On its RM25 million Malaysian plant, spanning more than 18,000 square metres, he said the plant had the capacity to increase its output by three-fold.

“However, the increase is still subject to the orders we receive,” he explained.

The company has plants in Australia, Malaysia, China, United States and Canada.
