135LC, also known as Spark 135 in Thailand, Sniper in Philippines Yamaha Jupiter MX in Indonesia and Exciter in Vietnam, is a small underbone bodied motorcycle manufactured by Company which is also a moped or underbone model with the second-largest displacement behind Suzuki Raider 150. Powered by a liquid-cooled 4-stroke engine, the Y135LC is specially designed by the parent company in Japan for Southeast Asian market.

Take the out on the streets and you are convinced anew that this is a different kind of machine by its ride. The sharp acceleration it gives you starting out from a
traffic light, the smoothness of the power development through 2nd, 3rd and into 4th gear. You can almost tell from the engine sound how efficiently the fuel is being burned
and you feel the joy of handling such an efficient machine.
If you are running at about 20 km/h in top gear, you will find that you can accelerate smoothly without downshifting. You feel the power develop rapidly as you accelerate.
This is the moment when you appreciate the extra power of the engine. And when you are running at over 20 km/ in 4th gear you may feel the kind of ease that makes
you think you are on an automatic transmission model.
There is also a sense of assurance in the predictability of the relationship between engine rpm and motorcycle speed that frees you from unnecessarily bothersome gear shifting.

 You will be surprised how low you can let the speed drop while staying in 4th gear and still get powerful acceleration without downshifting when you decide to pick up speed.
On the other hand, this is a machine that is fine-tuned to handle more aggressive, sporty riding with precisely timed gear shifting.
When you downshift from 4th into 3rd at about 20 km/h and open up the throttle, you will experience a whole different world of performance.
With the sharp burst of acceleration you get, you pull away from the car that had been running beside you and watch it get smaller and smaller in the rear-view mirror.
For this kind of performance you can thank the ’s new 4-valve engine with forged piston and the TPS carburetor fitted with an accelerator pump.
This is not just a matter of what is normally called “good response.” If response is too sharp it can lead to jerky performance that is difficult to control.
What the   LC 135 boasts is an acceleration feeling that is just nice.

    Features:

    DiASil (die-cast aluminum cylinder) which has better heat conductance to dissipate excessive heat easily.
    Lighter forged piston
    Roller bearing rocker arms with less friction than typical rocker arms.
    4-valve water-cooled engine – The 4-valve engine configuration provides better volumetric efficiency compared with other 4-stroke moped models which uses 2-valve engine design, enabling the engine to produce higher torque at high rpm. However, the engine displacement of 135cc limits the ability of air-cooling system while retaining the small kapchai design at the same time, therefore water-cooling system which has better cooling efficiency is used.
    Fuel injection (2008 Yamaha Spark 135i in Thailand only) for cleaner emission and better efficiency than the carbureted version.
    Carburetor with throttle position sensor and accelerator pump (other countries) – The Y135LC uses Mikuni VM22 carburetor equipped with throttle position sensor for more precise ignition timing, increasing the engine’s efficiency, and also an accelerator pump for better acceleration and instant response during take-off.
    Catalytic converter – Even though most 4-stroke kapchai models are capable to surpass strict emission standards without even using the catalytic converters, Yamaha has taken an initiative to install a catalytic converter to the Y135LC to surpass even stricter emission standards in the future.

    TP..klu dah buat block,jgn pki ekzos standart..pki lah yg dah buat punyer..
    mcm nobi,AHM,or ekzos2 paip yg ada..
    n,mane2 ada idea,kongsi2 la…aku pown nak cari kwn2 LC..hope cant joined u’all one day…

    dlu aku punya pun liking kt head penutup AIS tu…. aku gi SC yamaha sg.buloh. Dia bg amaran jgn guna cover penutup engine berbentuk V yg kt bawah. pomen tu ckp block LC mengalirkan haba, kalau tutup menda tu block jd panas, oil seal AIS memang akan tak tahan panas lampau itu……. hantar je kedai2 yamaha, tukar oil seal dan gam elok-elok

    aku dh pki moto lc135 1st edition selama 3 tahun. top speed memang power, lc aku leh cecah 180km/h (standart) tiada ubahsuai. perfomance dia memang tiptop,,, tapi kureng jika untuk penjalanan jauh yg kerap. sbb dulu aku keje jauh 1jam masa perjalanan. biasa aku bawa 140 – 150km/h. service aku on time. smp 1000km tkr myk htm n filter. pki 5 bln aku dh kena tkr connecting root dll. tu la kelemahan lc dia nyer connecting root tk tahan. (pomen kata)

    aku tk th la klu owner lain mcmner. lg satu spare part mahal.

    ada cadangan utk kes aku ni?

    pas 2-3 minggu ak pakai cam spec ka atas ni, ak x larat…. lc ak macam kena sampuk hantu raya…
    minum ron 97( time tue harga minyak ad subsidi lagi) x ingat dunia….

    so ape yang ak wat, tuka sporket blakang jer…so spec sperti di bawah:-

    so bawak biase2 dapat 145 km/j

    so based on experience ak nie, ak nak rekomen pengguna2 lc sekalian, kalu nak sedap bawak moto tanpa xtreme modification, gunakan la spec dibawah…

    tayar depan-70/90
    tayar blakang-80/90
    sprocket-15-37
    rantai-415(tapi memang mahal la)…

    so agak2nya leh la dapat kalu bawak stendet dalam 150km/j
    kalu superman 170 km/j…. kot la…
    so kalu ade sape2 da try @ nak kongsi pendapat… silakan….

  54. nak tanye otai2 semua… nape skang ni aku nengok, x ramai pemilk2 LC x pakai sgt sampan atau belly pan ekk? problem ke mende tu? Moto mmg la nampak mcm GP nyer stail. cantik and stylo sbenanye kalo ader sampan neh. nak pasang kat LC aku, takut out-dated la plak.

    aku baru beli motor lc yg ada klac kat tgn,bln 4/2010 aritu,aku nak tnya kat otai2 lc,aku igt nak modified ckit motor aku bg laju ckit,skrg ni motor aku ley gi smpai 140 jek,maximum dah 2…aku igt nak up ckit bg 160-170,aku kna modified ape ekk..pas2 aku dgr org ckp kalau kt ejas blok ngan karburetor moto ley cpt rosak,yeke?

    hmm, ko nak laju gi mane? ak pun dah dekat 3 tahun pakai lc and boleh naik maksimum 160 km/j(highway).ape yang ak tuka juz:-

    tayar depan-duro 70/90
    tayar belakang-80/90
    sprocket(415)-15-38
    stabilizer fork
    -pastikan tayar cukup angin.
    -xyah bazir duit wat single swing arm, pasang cdi, tuka blok racing, pakai piston lagi besar,usik karburator,tuka muffler, n laen-laen yang sama waktu dengannya….mmg la laju, maybe boleh sampi 180 kot, tapi ko kna ingat….minyak pun depa kuat makan, macam kena sampuk antu raya…dah tue, setiap tahun kena over haul(anggaran sendiri2 punyer r)… kan azir duit je tue…. baek trus amek ninja 250 jer, that’s my personal opinion la….kalau ade salah dan clap arap di ampunkan….hehehe….

  59. aku rs xpyh modi ape2..4 stroke kalu modi xtahan lame utk long term usage lg2 kalu selalu travel long distance.blok lc ni xbule korek sbb ianya diasil jenis pakai buang..tkr cdi racing pn xbaik utk kesihatan sbb bile voltage x dikawal sempurna nnt api kuat pastu piston bule bocor…carburator plak ade tps setting…kalu xpandai setting kekadang motor bule jd lembab…100km/h jer bule bla…kalu nk bg motor laju utk long distance tkr tyr kecik skit pastu sprocket blkg kasi turun skit..tp pickup jatuh skit la…ade la pro & contra…nk perfect xdpt la…
