PT Hai-O Indonesia Aims For 1,000 Members In Six Months

JAKARTA, April 13 (Bernama) — Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd, which has expanded its marketing wing to Indonesia through PT Hai-O Indonesia, aims to register 1,000 members in six months, says Group Chairman Tan Sri Osman S. Cassim.
He said the multi-level marketing company received encouraging response from Indonesians with 200 of them have already signed up as members.
“Hai-O is confident that with the quality range of products offered by the company, especially the Bio Aura water filters and premium beautiful foundation lingerie, our products will be a hit among Indonesians,” he said at the official launch of PT Hai-O Indonesia here Saturday.
Present at the launch were Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia Datuk Syed Munshe Afdzaruddin Syed Hassan, Raden Febrihehan, representative of Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, Hai-O Group Founder and Managing Director Tan Kai Hee and PT Hai-O Indoensia Director Srie Matina.
PT Hai-O Indonesia has been operating since August last year at a strategic location at Rukun Mangga Dua Square, Jl. Gunung Sahari Raya Jakarta, an area surrounded by major shopping malls in this city.
It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hai-O Group. Established in 1975, Hai-O has since become a household name, offering a wide range of quality healthcare products at competitive prices.
Over three decades, Hai-O Marketing has proven its mettle in developing the distribution network through efficient marketing strategies in Malaysia.
Osman said the company’s marketing network, which offers direct and indirect employment to many people in Malaysia, would also be extended to Indonesians.
“We in Hai-O Marketing want to share our experience and wealth with the people of this neighbouring nation who are of the same stock and speak the same language,” he said.
He said Hai-O Marketing picked Indonesia as the first foreign land to expand the multi-level marketing business because of its vast business potential given its huge population, viable economy, strong and stable currency.
Meanwhile, Srie Martina said since the company started operations here, it has groomed several sales managers and believed that their numbers would grow in line with the promotional programmes that have been lined up.
She however declined to divulge the company’s projected profit after one year in operations but said she wanted to equal or better the performance in Malaysia.
She said a wide range of Hai-O Marketing products, including Bio Aura water filters, lubricant oil and premium beautiful lingerie foundation, have received approval from the Indonesian authorities.
Syed Munshe Afdzaruddin, in his speech, said the embassy would extend full support and cooperation through advisory services to Malaysian companies expanding to Indonesia.
He said Hai-O’s entry into Indonesia was timely and was in keeping with the Malaysian government’s call to established Malaysian companies to venture out in search of new markets abroad.
Stressing that there were vast opportunities in Indonesia, the presence of Hai-O would further boost business dealings here and pave the way for profits to be shared together, he added.
