2011 CBR 250R vs 2011 NINJA 250R SPECS

The Kawasaki 250R Ninja has been the leader of the entry-level sportbike class mostly due to the lack of competition. But this will all change for 2011, as Honda released the CBR250R stateside. The lightweight sportbike will bring the attractive styling of its older brothers to the entry-level sportbike rider, all with estimated affordable sportbike price for 250cc bike.

2011 CBR 250R vs 2011 NINJA 250R SPECS

The 2011 Honda CBR250 R features an efficient 249cc, liquid-cooled single engine that features an all-new design with sophisticated four-valve DOHC cylinder head, engine counterbalancer, and fuel injection. On the handling side, the lighweight Honda CBR250R features a diamond twin-spar steel frame plus a 37mm front fork and Pro-Link single-shock rear suspension, which provide impressive handling and a comfortable ride.

Comparing with Honda CBR-250R, the Ninja 250R is better in terms of specs. Ninja 249cc got 2-cylinder engine that can provide good engine feel, while CBR got the single cylinder engine which is good for fuel economy and good torque. Also, single displacement engine have much fewer parts and therefore, easier to maintain all along its lifetime.

Kawasaki Ninja 250R FI is recently launched differ from the previous model is carburetted. Fine-tuned twin Keihin CVK30 carburetors offer good power feel and low fuel consumption. Since the new edition equipped with FI system,  fuel-efficiency can further be upgraded and also you don’t have to pull choke everytime you want to start the bike in the morning since the FI system takes control all of that. While the CBR 250R is using a Fuel injection to give full power at lower fuel consumption.

The ninja is giving more on specs but the CBR offer better ride technologies. its up to you to decide after the Honda announce the price.
