Yamaha Malaysia, Hong Leong Yamaha has introduced Ego LC, the latest variant of EGO. As the sister model with Yamaha Mio 125 in Thailand and Yamaha Luvias 125 in Vietnam, Yamaha Ego Lc is powered by 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine which produces high compression ration for a strong torque reply from low to mid acceleration. By using DIasil Cylinder help to give more power and engine cooling for long distance travel. It’s also use forged pistons to reduce vibrations and this provides comfort and better acceleration. The new 125 cc Yamaha Ego LC price is said to be at RM5450.00 excluding road tax, insurance and registration. The price for Yamaha Ego LC OTR (on the road) is around RM5800.00 with first-party all rider insurance, road tax and registration cash. Or a 2-year motorcycle loan of Yamaha Ego LC with RM2200 down payment and RM210 monthly.

Ego is very popular, especially to town commuter. It is almost perfect for a trip to office or to the grocery stores. Good acceleration, reliable engine, very customisable. But with its small body, it is not recomended for high speed riding long distance journey. Anyway, what’s great about this Ego LC is the bike under seat compartment at 12.8 liter which can accommodate helmet easily. This volume is much bigger compared to Lagenda 115ZR under seat compartment at only 7.0 liter. In another hand, the liquid Cooling key features found in Ego LC provides a more stable engine temperatures. Moreover,The Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS) sensor which provides a better timing to “ignition timing” of the different conditions, once it returns to save fuel consumption.
