Domino’s introduces pizza tracking service
PETALING JAYA: Ever wondered where your pizza is when you order it online? Well, now you don’t have to wonder anymore as Domino’s Pizza Malaysia will soon roll out their new GPS (or Great Pizza Service) Tracking service.
The service, which is said to complement Domino’s existing online ordering service, will allow users to monitor the status of their order from the time it is sent to the kitchen to the moment it leaves the store and out on the road.
According Dommal Food Services Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Ba U Shan-Ting, the service has already been implemented in overseas markets such as the United States, Japan and Australia. Dommal Food Services is the franchise holder of Domino’s Pizza Malaysia.
“This is the first time in Malaysia and South-East Asia that customers will be able to track the progress of their order,” he said.
While the service doesn’t offer location-based tracking of your pizza, customers can at the very least gauge whether the order is on time and has left the restaurant. Domino’s GPS Tracking service will be active nationwide by May 17.
